To celebrate the publication of the Japanese short story anthology The Penguin Book of Japanese Short Stories, the Global Japanese Studies Model Unit of the Top Global University Project welcomes Jay Rubin (Professor Emeritus at Harvard University), the editor of the book, and Motoyuki Shibata (Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo), a translator of American literature, to hold a dialogue event as follows:
